This is how to use the CSR Risk Check:

International supply chains are becoming increasingly complex. CSR risks in the supply chain may be linked to raw materials, components or semi-finished products produced in other countries, rather than directly to the final product.

  • Therefore, always complete the CSR Risk Check for the raw materials or components of your product as well.
  • Example: If you want to list CSR risks for solar panels from China, include raw materials such as lithium and cobalt in your search request.
  • CSR risks can also occur when providing services. For example, consider human rights violations or environmental pollution in transportation. Therefore, always complete the CSR Risk Check separately for services you use in a country.

1. Select product or service

Choose a product or a component/raw material of a product that you produce or purchase, or a service that you provide. If desired, you can select multiple options.

Please skip this step if you only want to know the risks for a specific country.

2. Select the country of origin

When you import, think carefully about the origin of a product or raw material. Select the place of origin (production, extraction) and not the country from which you purchased it. If desired, you can select multiple countries.

Please skip this step if the country of origin is unknown.
